OUR JOURNEY

Army Public Schools (APS) is a system of a public schools established for imparting education to the children of the Indian armed forces personnel. With 137 schools throughout the country, it is one of the largest chain of schools in India. It is controlled by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES), which was established in 1983, has over the years established more than 137 Army public schools and 2249 Army pre-primary schools across India, and also several institutions of higher education.

Army Public School, Bagrakote started as a Garrison School in Sep 1978 and was converted into Army School up to class V in Jan 1991 under the aegis of Army Welfare Education Society (AWES). The school received its affiliation to CBSE, New Delhi up to class X on 28th Sep 1998. It is located by the side of Leesh River and its vicinity is next to Godliness. A lush green, peaceful and nearest to nature atmosphere is surrounding the school. The school has grown in strength over the years in both academic and non academic fields.
