In everyday life, the development of Life Skills helps students to find new ways of thinking and problem solving. At APS Bagrakote we integrate the curriculum with Psycho-Social competencies and interpersonal skills which will help students to build a healthy relationship.
The Life Skills room in APS Bagrakote is set up to give students an ambience of different rooms at home. Emphasis is laid on different adaptive skills such as proper hand washing and oral hygiene, social skills such as sharing, making friends and certain life skills which involve household chores like laundering, ironing, stitching, hemming, cooking, cleaning and so on.
Various activities are organized for students to enhance their written and verbal communicative skills as well as social etiquettes. Talk shows and mock interviews are conducted to improve the spoken language skills of students.
